A scout must attend three
campouts and a total of ten troop activities (not counting the Tue. Meetings).
Purchase food for a campout and
do the cooking.
Key here is going camping… If a
scout attends all the campouts the requirements will take care of themselves.

Project Planning Seminar
The
scout will have about 58 maximum opportunities within this program to earn
merit badges in two years. If the scout
chooses carefully he can get the 21 merit badges for Eagle, and still meet the
demands placed on a scout’s time:
sports, band, and other youth activities. The typical scout would be expected to earn
30 merit badges in the two years. The
program’s goal is to get all the scouts to First Class, and provide multiple
opportunities for the scouts to earn Eagle in two to four years. Every boy has the opportunity to become an
Eagle Scout. The troop encourages,
supports and hopes all boys will choose this path. As more boys follow the Eagle path, others
will see the light and make the effort to be an Eagle! Eagle before girls, cars and jobs is the most
productive path, will luck the girls, cars and jobs
will be in much better hands, the hands of an Eagle…
Eagle
service project will be up to the scout to develop and complete. Second Class and Star and Life service
projects will be provided (group activities) for scouts as needed, most of this
activity is helping other scouts with their Eagle service projects.
